My name is Gina Treece and even as a little girl, I've had a very inquisitive natural and I wanted to know how & why things worked.  I also come from a family where my dad, brother and stepdad are all licensed contractors.  There was always a project of building/renovating going on at our home.  My dad can build anything...when I say anything...I mean even an 18 ft. classic wood boat from blueprints.

After high school, I earned an associate's degree in Accounting and a bachelor's degree in Business Management. I have spent the last 25 + years, working in the manufacturing and environmental industries as an auditor and accountant.  My most recent experience was in manufacturing where I was an accountant certified as an ISO/TS 16949 auditor for the
International Quality Management Standard.

Earlier this year, I took advantage of an opportunity to use my prior knowledge and understanding about quality and safety standards to become a home inspector.  I attended the highly regarded ASHI School (American Society of Home
Inspectors) in Des Plaines, IL. and I am also a member of the Great Lakes Chapter of ASHI.

I am married and have three married stepsons, two grandchildren and another on the way.  My husband and I live on a farm and have a horse, goats, chickens and two dogs. My hobbies include organic farming, canning, home improvement projects and local late model dirt track racing.
